Good Ancestor is proud to conclude its second year of full funding for the prominent blog "Don't worry about the vase" and announce its intent to fund the 3rd year, thanks to our generous donors.

We believe Zvi's writing on current events and the future of society, particularly on the subject of AI, provides a crucial service in timely, detailed, and accurate public understanding of important and complex subjects that impact our civilization.

The blog has over 50,000 followers and in 2023 (the first grant year) achieved over 1.7 million views, growing to over 3.3 million in 2024.

Most importantly it has a particularly astute and connected reader base within the AI space itself, authoring more than 100 long form entries detailing AI developments.

Most crucially a feedback loop has been created where people creating the model specs are reading and contemplating his thoughts and analysis of the models they created.
