Emergency Assistance for select NGO's affected by USAID

This week Colby and Gayle are interviewing HRF fellows and other ecosystem partners affected by USAID to provide Good Ancestor donors an executive summary of the funding opportunities created by the treasury freezes at USAID that has locked up both 2025 funding orgs were promised as well as 2024 payments for work already completed. It remains to be seen how it shakes out but in the short run many good human rights, and democracy related orgs are in crisis having lost 20-60% of their budgets from organizations like National Endowment for Democracy downstream of USAid.
