Early career mentorship opportunities
- For gifted/dedicated people with time and looking to gain experience
Examples
- Attend events both you and Good Ancestor are interested in, writing reports about the event or research subject, potential grantees, donors, or volunteers
- Serve as a part time assistant to one of our projects or staff
Underutilized professionals
- Career professionals willing to take time on the side to assist with projects they care about in periodic temporary deep dives OR serving a stable 10% time role
Examples
- Computer scientist, researcher, graphic designer, media expert, journalist, marketer, engineer, grant writer that wants to assist with a specific project on a one time or ad hoc basis
- Project managers can drive a project forward with around 3 hours per week of somewhat reliable ongoing effort
Governance and advisory services
- Subject matter expert who can serve in an advisory, review, or governance role with great reliability but minimum total time commitment
