We reviewed and helped select for funding Beyond Utopia which won the Sundance Audience Award for its display of escape pathways from North Korea in 2023 and was nominated for the Emmy's and Oscars.

See also our 2015 trip to accompanying HRF to review all the North Korea related charities in Seoul - a portion of which ended up in this Vice News Feature. This work led to the award winning Flash Drives for Freedom campaign as well as our input in designing classified US State Department projects to assist the North Korean people.

Producing this film was only possible because its no longer possible or realistic for smugglers to bring people out of North Korea due to advances in integrated AI surveillance systems in neighboring countries.
